SUMMER CIT PROGRAM
(COUNSELOR IN TRAINING)
AGES 12-15
Designed for teens, our CIT program helps teens discover their potential, give back to their community and develop life-long leadership skills.
CIT's will have the chance to shadow actual counselors, help facilitate activities and participate in nearly every activity.

PROGRAM CRITERIA
We will be taking applications and only a selected number of participants will be chosen. Youth selected for the program will be asked to attend pre-camp trainings (just like the staff!) that will get them excited for a fun summer experience. You can download the application, reference forms and essay topics. All applications and corresponding paperwork are due back to the Northeast Family YMCA by Wednesday, May 1, 2012. Selected youth will be notified by Wednesday, May 7, 2012 of acceptance into the program.
LOCATION
Monday-Thursday CIT's will be assigned to specific camp locations in the northeast area (see camp locations above), Friday's all CIT meet at the Northeast Family YMCA for a planned field trip.Program hours are 7 am-6 pm daily.
