YMCA SCHOOL-AGE CHILD CARE
Our child care program is available to every child enrolled in a Bullitt County Public Elementary School or in Jefferson County elementary or middle school.
HOURS OF OPERATION
- Bullitt County:
6:00AM until beginning of school & end of school until 6:00PM
Continuous care is available from 6:00AM-6:00PM during inservice days - Jefferson County:
7:00AM until beginning of school & end of school until 6:00PM
Continours care is available from 7:00AM-6:00PM during inservice days - Private & Parochial:
End of school until 6:00PM
Continuour care is available from 7:00AM-6:00PM during inservice days, half days, snow days adn school breaks

SNOW DAY PROCEDURES
When schools are closed due to inclement weather, we will offer a full day of activities at the designated snow sites listed below. Snow day care is available for CURRENTLY REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS. On snow days children should bring a sack lunch along with hat, gloves, boots and a warm coat.
EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS
In extreme weather conditions, we will attempt to open only the following emergency sites:
Bullitt County
Roby Elementary
Northeast Jefferson County
Northeast Family YMCA
Southwest Jefferson County
Olmstead South Academy
Southeast Jefferson County
Fern Creek Elementary
Downtown Jefferson County
Brown School
The web site will be updated if this occurs and information will also be available by calling 637-1575. Snow sites operate on a first come, first served basis and if a site reaches capacity you may be asked to choose another location. Sign up for our text messaging service.
CHILD CARE ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
Our Childcare Enrichment Program (CEP) is available to every child enrolled in a Jefferson County Public Elementary or Middle School. Regular program hours are 7AM until the start of school and from the end of the school day until 6PM. We offer continuous care from 7AM - 6PM during inservice days, snow days and school breaks.
